These Creator Guidelines apply to all creators on SoundCode, including musicians, podcast hosts, ministries, churches, worship leaders, and Christian organizations.
Music Standards
Creators should upload:
- High-quality audio
- Clear recordings
- Professional artwork
- Accurate metadata
Music creators must own the recordings or have permission to distribute them.
Podcast Standards
Podcasters should:
- Use clear audio
- Provide episode descriptions
- Use accurate titles
- Use appropriate categories
Guest appearances should only be published with appropriate consent where required by law.
Creator Profiles
Creators should maintain:
- Accurate biographies
- Current profile images
- Working social media links
- Authentic branding
Metadata Requirements
Creators must avoid:
- Keyword stuffing
- Misleading titles
- False artist names
- Fake collaborations
All metadata should accurately represent the content being published.
Churches and Ministries
Churches and ministries should ensure:
- Authorized representatives manage accounts
- Sermons belong to the organization or are properly licensed
- Published content is appropriately licensed and authorized
Premium Creator Membership
Premium Creator Membership is:
- Free
- Application-based
- Reviewed by SoundCode administrators
Creator tiers may be assigned according to:
- Follower count
- Audience engagement
- Content quality
- Platform participation
Creator Conduct
- Treat audiences respectfully
- Respond professionally
- Avoid deceptive practices
- Follow platform policies
Monetization and Gifting
SoundCode provides creators with opportunities to receive support through the platform's official gifting system.
Creators may receive gifts from followers in the form of Espees.
To maintain transparency and community safety:
- Creators may only accept gifts through the official SoundCode gifting system.
- Creators must not request bank transfers from followers.
- Creators must not request direct cash payments.
- Creators must not encourage followers to send money through unauthorized channels.
- Creators must not use private messages to solicit payments.
Creators are strongly encouraged to inform followers that Espees are the only approved gifting method on SoundCode.
Impersonation and Fraud Protection
If a creator becomes aware of individuals impersonating them and requesting money outside SoundCode, they should:
- Notify their followers.
- Report the impersonating account to SoundCode.
- Cooperate with SoundCode investigations.
Violations of Monetization Policies
Unauthorized payment requests may result in:
- Removal of monetization privileges
- Suspension of creator status
- Content removal
- Permanent account termination
SoundCode reserves the right to monitor gifting activity to protect users, creators, and platform integrity.
Enforcement
Violations may result in:
- Content removal
- Creator suspension
- Loss of creator privileges
- Termination of account
SoundCode reserves the right to take action based on the severity, frequency, and impact of violations.
